Te Aka Reo is shaped by Logan Poole's whakapapa and connection to multiple iwi, hapū, marae, awa, roto, and waka throughout Aotearoa. These connections help guide the kaupapa of creating practical, respectful, and accessible tools that support the learning and revitalisation of te reo Māori.

Project Intention
The aim of Te Aka Reo is to make te reo Māori learning easier to access through clear examples, searchable content, practice tools, and a clean learning experience.
The platform is designed as a support tool for learners. It should sit alongside guidance from kaiako, whānau, hapū, iwi, and trusted te reo Māori resources.
